SMSFAST, an online service that provides temporary virtual phone numbers for receiving SMS verification codes, has passed 1.3 million registered users and more than 70 million completed activations, the company said. The milestone points to steady growth in demand for tools that let people verify accounts without handing a personal phone number to every website and app.

The service works without a physical SIM card. A user selects a platform, picks a country and buys a number starting at $0.21. The verification code arrives in the user’s dashboard within about three seconds, based on the company’s reported average delivery rate of more than 96%. When no code arrives, the charge returns to the account balance automatically, with no support ticket required.

Coverage now reaches more than 190 countries and 500 platforms, including WhatsApp, Telegram, Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Amazon and Discord. Numbers come in two forms: short activation windows of 20 to 90 minutes for one-time sign-ups, and longer rentals running from a single day to a full year for accounts that need ongoing access.

The service also supports developers through a REST API with documentation for Python, Node.js, PHP and Go. The company said the API is used to automate verification testing in development and continuous-integration environments, a task that is slow and repetitive when handled by hand.

Privacy sits at the center of the pitch. Unlike free services that publish shared numbers anyone can read, each SMSFAST number stays private to the buyer for the length of the activation or rental. Personal numbers stay off sign-up forms, which cuts down on spam calls and limits how far personal data spreads across platforms.

“The goal now is wider coverage and faster delivery in the markets where verification is hardest,” said a Spokesperson at SmsFast. “Adding depth in the countries where people actually struggle matters more than a bigger headline number.”

Pricing follows a pay-on-delivery model with no subscription. Payment options include major cards, cryptocurrency and Alipay, and a loyalty program lowers per-number costs by up to 32% as usage grows.
