A Zurich Based Church Accepts Cryptocurrencies as Donation

Virtual coins begin to be integrated in everyday life more and more. There is a major involvement from governments of the world’s great countries in cryptocurrency’s system. But, it seems that the digital currencies are beneficial for churches as well.
An evangelical church, named ICF Zurich, Switzerland, began to accept donations in cryptocurrency. In accordance to their official website, donations can be made directly via the following virtual currencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP) and Stellar Lumen (XLM).
One of the spokesperson of the church, named Nicolas Legler replied to a Swiss media that “Digital currencies and the blockchain technology will change our daily lives more and more in the next years”. He believes that virtual currencies will evolve over time, becoming a part of our lives.
This church is known for its uniqueness. The ICF Church always adapts to new technologies, and young members interested in helping them manage to develop the church’s financial features. This may be one of the reasons why they have adopted a new virtual technology.
The population is beginning to accept the new digital currency. Thus, the Zurich Church is neither the first nor the last one that will adopt such important decisions for the institution’s development.
What do you think about the church’s adaptation? Will this attract more believers or more investments?
