Great news for Bitcoin Cash users. The platform dedicated to Trezor Bitcoin Wallet has confirmed that the developers are working on the cashaddr support system.

It’s an important project for the BCH network. Regardless of the fact that the implementation of such a project requires financial and time resources, it’s important that the companies pay attention to such technological development.

Cashaddr is what can be called the technology of the 21st century. It’s one of the most beneficial innovations for the Bitcoin Cash network. The new address format simplifies the way how to differentiate the BCH and BTC addresses. This is used by a large number of users, even if it’s not the most perfect solution.

A Twitter response revealed that the new cashaddr format of address is going to be implemented by Trezor. This means an important step for the Bitcoin Cash network but especially for the BCH community.

Currently, no detailed information is known about the period in which the new format will be implemented by the company. Trezor is not the first platform that has decided to adopt such a format. For this reason, we can safely say that the platform will not prefer to remain behind the technological development. Among those who have adopted cashaddr format are BitPay, CoinText, YoursOrg, Bitcoin Cash Fund and Coinbase.

Of course, it will take some time to complete the new switch and adopt the cashaddr support. We want to remind you that this format is an important development for the Bitcoin Cash community. We also want to believe that Trezor will work hard to implement the cashaddr support in order to keep up with the innovations.
