Bitcoin which is currently going through a major drop in price and market capitalisation has so far received support from prominent investors, commentators and crypto enthusiasts.
The CEO of the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Jeff Sprecher has also made his stance known regarding the current status of the market.
ICE CEO is Positive
At the CoinDesk’s Consensus Invest event on November 27, 2018, Jeff Sprecher decided to voice out his thoughts on the crypto market. He made it known that he believes cryptocurrency will survive irrespective of the current situation in the market. He then went on to say that Bitcoin will pull through with its current challenges, also stating that his opinion has not changed irrespective of the current value of crypto assets.
Although Sprecher didn’t state a reason for his claims, a partner at Morgan Creek Digital called Anthony Pompliano, went on to help Sprecher out with the explanation.
According to a recent report, Anthony stated that he was completely confident of a rosy future for Bitcoins and cryptocurrency despite the “technical, historical and psychological” indicators that say that bitcoin’s lows will get lower. He reiterated that the most secure transaction settlement layer in the world is still bitcoin, therefore, it will always maintain its value despite what the market is saying, and the level of development the blockchain technologies will experience.
Anthony Pompliano popularly called pomp continued by insisting that cryptocurrencies is still the best-performing asset class in 2018 (despite its not so impressive year) and will continue to be even in the next 10 year.
Bakkt’s CEO is Positive Also
Another investor who is not bothered about the price of bitcoin at the moment is Bakkt’s CEO, Kelly Loeffler. She recently made it known that the current price of bitcoin doesn’t bother her, and she is confident of a positive future for cryptocurrency.
