Sonic Launches Validator Program on Solana with Major Web3 Partners

Sonic, the first Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) chain extension built on the Solana blockchain, has officially launched its Validator Program, a significant step toward full decentralization.

The program debuts with support from key Web3 infrastructure players, including Restake, Stakin, and Solana-native project Adrastea.

This move establishes a new foundation for Sonic’s growing ecosystem of Web3 applications and blockchain games, emphasizing both performance and accessibility.

The first wave of participating validators will gain access to two structured incentive tracks:

  • Self-staking rewards, encouraging validators to commit their own capital
  • Delegation-based incentives, aimed at attracting stake from the broader community

Sonic’s validator ecosystem is engineered for scalability and transparency, offering performance-based rewards and low operational costs—estimated between $500 and $3,000 per month.

Validators will also benefit from detailed documentation, dedicated support channels, and inclusive onboarding processes.
