New Robinhood AI Tool Reveals Why Stocks Move in Seconds

Robinhood has officially launched its first artificial intelligence-powered product in the UK, giving users a new way to understand market movements without the complexity of financial jargon.
The feature, called Digests by Robinhood Cortex, uses generative AI to track market drivers such as breaking news, analyst reports, and technical signals. It then transforms that information into short, plain-language explanations of why a stock’s price is moving.
AI Investing for Everyone
According to Robinhood UK President Jordan Sinclair, the goal is to make investing easier to follow for all types of users: “Digests by Robinhood Cortex is our first AI insight tool built directly into our app.
From new investors to seasoned traders, we believe our UK customers will benefit from clear, timely summaries that explain what may be moving a stock. This is just the beginning of a wave of AI-powered features designed to improve customer education and confidence.”

The AI summaries appear directly on a stock’s detail page and will be free to use at launch. Robinhood says the tool acts as an “information-gathering layer,” helping users build investment strategies and validate signals before making trades.
Strong U.S. Reception
Digests debuted earlier this year at Robinhood’s Lost City of Gold event in San Francisco and rolled out in the U.S. over the summer. Since then, Robinhood claims hundreds of thousands of users have tested the tool, with 95% of surveyed customers reporting satisfaction thanks to its up-to-date and relevant insights.
For now, Digests will cover some of the platform’s most-traded equities, but Robinhood has confirmed that more AI-powered features are already in development as part of a broader strategy to boost financial literacy and strengthen investor trust.
The move highlights how fintech firms are racing to embed artificial intelligence into their platforms, not only to differentiate themselves but also to give retail traders the kind of real-time, actionable insights once reserved for professionals.
