MultiBank Group Signs $3B Real Estate Tokenization Deal With MAG and Mavryk
MultiBank Group, the Dubai-headquartered financial derivatives powerhouse, has announced a groundbreaking $3 billion real-world asset (RWA) tokenization agreement with UAE real estate developer MAG and blockchain infrastructure firm Mavryk.
The deal is the largest of its kind globally and marks a major milestone in bridging traditional finance with blockchain-based assets.
The strategic partnership will tokenize MAG’s ultra-luxury real estate holdings — including marquee developments like The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Dubai, Creekside, and the Keturah Reserve — onto the MultiBank.io RWA marketplace, leveraging Mavryk as the layer-1 blockchain infrastructure.
MBG Utility Token to Power Ecosystem
As part of the initiative, MultiBank will soon launch its native utility token, $MBG. This token will play a key role within the ecosystem by offering trading discounts, early access to real estate assets, and a deflationary buyback-and-burn model to increase long-term value for holders.
Tokenized properties on the platform will generate daily yield for investors and be accessible globally, introducing broader participation in traditionally illiquid luxury assets.
“$3B worth of MAG’s real estate will be tokenized as individual RWA tokens, each represented on the Mavryk blockchain,” said Talal Moafaq Al Gaddah, senior executive vice chairman of MAG.
DeFi Meets Real Estate With Institutional Oversight
Mavryk will manage the blockchain issuance and decentralized finance integrations, while MultiBank Group will handle liquidity, governance, and full regulatory compliance.
“Tokenized assets issued by MultiBank will serve dual purposes,” Al Gaddah explained. “They will be usable as collateral within MultiBank’s derivatives trading environment, establishing a seamless bridge between real-world assets and financial derivatives.”
This ambitious collaboration sets the stage for institutional-grade tokenization of real estate, showcasing the UAE’s leadership in blockchain innovation and financial digitization.
