The crypto sector expands with fast steps. Online has exploded after the announcement of a crypto movie release, starring Hollywood legend Kurt Russell.

The film was called Crypto and has as main roles Kurt Russell, Alexis Bledel, Beau Knapp Jeremie Harris, and Luke Hemsworth. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will describe the life of a young theft agent (played by Beau Knapp) who returns to his hometown to investigate a case of corruption. Kurt Russell will act as the father of Knapp’s character, according to media.

The filmmakers describe the movie as “a thriller in the vein of The Firm and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” but with the emphasis on cryptocurrency. Screenwriters of the indie film are Carlyle Eubank and David Frigerio, while it’s directed by John Stalberg Jr.

Cryptocurrency has captured the attention and imagination of consumers and entrepreneurs all over the world but has never been explored in film in such a nuanced and exciting way,” the co-producer Jordan Yale Levine stated.

The filming has already begun and is taking place in New York. The launch date hasn’t yet been determined.

I am overjoyed to be working with such an incredible cast to bring this timely, thrilling story to life,” director Stalberg claimed. “Beau is incredibly talented, and seeing him bring this character to life opposite talent like Alexis, Kurt, Luke, Jeremie and Vincent has been a dream come true.”

The movie could become a boom of the crypto revolution, leading the sector to another level. We want to remind you that last year the Coen brothers announced the launch of Silk Road, a movie about dark-market that involved Bitcoin. Even so, the two movies are based on different themes.
