A Terrifying Home Invasion
Siragusa was asleep when three masked men stormed her bedroom, pistol-whipping her and forcing her at gunpointto transfer her digital assets. She later revealed:
“They cornered me into a chair, asking ‘where’s the crypto?’ over and over.”
Her publicly known crypto holdings—including 211 BTC worth over $17 million—may have made her a target.
Dramatic Escape and Gunfire
Siragusa led the intruders toward another part of the house, where her husband, Nick Lee, was armed. As the attackers approached, he fired multiple shots, causing them to flee. One suspect was reportedly hit and later sought treatment at a hospital where Siragusa had been treated.

They face aggravated robbery and kidnapping charges. Two remain in custody, while one was released on $100,000 bond.
