CoinMarketCap Announces New Partner
CoinMarketCap, the leading platform when it comes to providing cryptocurrency data, announced yesterday via a post on Twitter its collaboration with Vela, a corporate management provider for online asset trading.
CoinMarketCap also mentioned that the partnership will expand Vela’s client base to institutional clients via its cryptocurrency information.
Jen Nayar, Chief Executive Officer at Vela, shared his enthusiasm regarding the partnership with CoinMarketCap in a post:
“We are very excited to be partnering with CoinMarketCap to provide our institutional clients with enterprise-grade access to the leading, independent source of cryptocurrency data. With crypto being one of the biggest disruptors in our space today, this agreement fortifies Vela’s entry into this innovative digital currency sector.
We look forward to working with CoinMarketCap to deliver their world-leading cryptocurrency data to our institutional audience.”
Vela also announced in a following Twitter post of CoinMarketCap’s addition to its SuperFeed, which is the company’s Market Data Feed Service Vela.
“@TradeVela adds @CoinMarketCap crypto data to SuperFeed”– tweeted the platform.
CoinMarketCap has listed on its platform over 1,800 cryptocurrencies, featuring data such as price, market capitalization and other details. Vela’s streaming market data feed will include the newly-updated API of its new associate. This will help meet the data requirements of various industries, like banks, brokers, firms in retail, and many others.
SuperFeed currently has around 100 data sources and markets that have been tested to be compatible with the platform’s newly integrated cryptocurrencies. The feed also included all the most important markets in the US, Europe, and Asia.
The SuperFeed is considered a reliable provider of high-quality data for all of its clients. The platform also proved its ability to process large data volumes without lowering its user experience standards. This is due to data normalization, which involves not needing a specific client infrastructure.
Brandon Chez, CoinMarketCap’s founder, has to say the following in relation to the partnership:
“With our goal to remain the most trusted and accurate source of data for the cryptocurrency community, we are pleased to be partnering with Vela, a well-respected and independent technology leader in trading and market access.
Together, we are able to extend our reach to major banks, broker-dealers, and institutional firms so that they can access our information directly.”
