Coinbase Lists Fartcoin and Two Other Popular Altcoins
Major U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has officially listed three new tokens, broadening its portfolio of supported digital assets and offering users more trading and storage flexibility.
The newly added assets are now live across the Coinbase platform, including mobile apps for iOS and Android. Users can buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or hold each of the new tokens, with the exchange extending full trading functionality for all three.
Here’s a breakdown of the newly listed tokens and their networks:
- PancakeSwap (CAKE): An ERC-20 token built on Ethereum.
- Subsquid (SQD): A token running on Arbitrum, an Ethereum Layer 2 solution.
- Fartcoin (FARTCOIN): Based on the Solana blockchain as an SPL token.
Coinbase has also enabled perpetual futures trading for Fartcoin on both Coinbase International Exchange and Coinbase Advanced, indicating rising interest in memecoins among derivatives traders.
In addition, Coinbase updated its asset roadmap to include Sonic (S), signaling potential future listing plans. The platform also expanded Worldcoin (WLD) support for send/receive functionalities to include Ethereum, Optimism, and the World Chain network.
Coinbase continues to grow its ecosystem and respond to market demand by offering access to a broader range of tokens across major blockchain networks.
