Drawing a metaphor to a doomed voyage, Zeberg compared the current phase to the Titanic after it’s struck the iceberg—still afloat, but only for now. He maintains that any short-term economic boost will be just that: short-lived. Nevertheless, the temporary wave of liquidity could lead to explosive gains for crypto before a broader economic reckoning arrives.
Zeberg has consistently argued that a blow-off top in crypto is still ahead, predicting that a sudden policy pivot by the Federal Reserve could send Bitcoin, altcoins, and even equities soaring before the inevitable recession takes hold.
