Bitpay and Refundo Making Tax Season Less Stressful
Refundo which is a leading tax service provider founded in 2011 provides taxpayers with professional financial services which entails refund transfers, advances, and refunds.
The tax focused firm made it known that its recent partnership with Bitpay help fosters a more transparent and seamless experience during tax season. The firm is also of the belief that the underbanked population stand the most chance of benefiting from a refund experience tied to crypto. This is mainly because the initiative will help bridge the gap for individuals with alternative banking needs.
In its announcement, Roger Chinchilla, CEO at Refundo stated that:
“Refundo offers several options to help taxpayers receive their tax refunds safer, faster and more conveniently,”
The tax service provider added:
“Adding bitcoin was a natural fit for our customers who often do not have traditional checking accounts, pay high check cashing fees and regularly send money internationally. Coin-RT enables them to get bitcoin quickly and easily for one flat fee.”
This partnership with the tax service provider is coming right after Bitpay partnered with the leading global technology solutions company Avnet (Nasdaq: AVT).
As a result of their partnership, Avnet now accepts crypto through Bitpay’s services for various products and services.
Furthermore, Bitpay is of the strong opinion that customers or subscriber to any of Avnet’s services getting refunds from Refundo will benefit from the high-speed settlement and low-cost payouts delivered by blockchain payments.
For now, Bitcoin Core (BTC) is the only crypto compatible with the Refundo platform. Plans to add BCH and other crypto is however in motion.
