Bitcoin Reaches New ATH Above $125K, While Bitcoin Hyper’s Presale Hits $21.5M

Bitcoin just reached its biggest ATH in the last 17 years, after breaking above the $125K barrier today.

$BTC reached $125,376.68, according to CoinMarketCap data, before contracting to $124,900 at the time of writing.

Bitcoin’s recent ATH on CoinMarketCap.

More importantly, the momentum didn’t wear off, as Bitcoin is now 14% up over the last seven days at the start of 2025’s Uptober.

As expected, the market rallied closely behind, adding 1.8% to its $4.26T market cap, while BitBo’s Fear and Greed Index pushed to an ultra-bullish 74 on the greed scale.

With October already up to a spicy start, Bitcoin Hyper’s ($HYPER) $21.5M presale shows a lot of promise going into Q4. As Bitcoin’s Layer 2 upgrade, Hyper aims to boost Bitcoin’s performance for faster and cheaper transactions and massive scalability.

How Does the Q4 Bitcoin Look Like?

The most optimistic outlook on Q4’s Bitcoin puts the asset at another ATH by the end of the year. The market sets the odds of a $130K price point at 86% while those of a $150K ATH are now at 40% and up.

Standard Chartered agrees with this prediction and dares to go one step farther, with analyst Geoff Kendrick putting Bitcoin on a $200K price tag by the end of Q4.

JP Morgan’s analysts also see Bitcoin reaching $165K in 2025, invoking catalysts like Bitcoin’s undervaluation relative to gold and the strong ETF inflows coming in recently.

The rise in inflows is also what drove Citigroup to predict a $133K price point by the end of the year, with a $181K target for 2026. Citi analysts revised this prediction to a more realistic number in the context of a stronger US dollar and a weakened gold.

But nothing beats Michael Saylor’s unbending optimism or his prediction of a $21M $BTC by 2046.

On a more realistic note, his statement of ‘If Bitcoin’s not going to zero, it’s going to $1M’ hits closer to home. Saylor believes that the ‘winter is not coming back’ and that the market should brace for a never-ending bull run starting this coming Q4.

With Saylor’s Strategy now holding 640,031 bitcoins, valued at almost $74B, making it the largest Bitcoin holder in the world, these predictions hit differently.

Between the growing investor support and institutional adoption and the pro-crypto legislation making progress globally, Bitcoin appears stronger than ever as we head into 2025’s Q4.

2026 looks even better, especially with Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) aiming for a 2025 Q4 release.

Bitcoin Hyper Promises Faster and Cheaper Bitcoin Transactions

Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) is the Layer 2 upgrade that promises to change the Bitcoin ecosystem forever. Hyper promises faster and cheaper transactions, improved network scalability, and a more performant network, without sacrificing Bitcoin’s security or brand appeal.

Hyper’s Layer 2 aims to solve Bitcoin’s most pressing problem: its performance limitation of seven transactions per second (TPS), which puts Bitcoin at the 28th spot on the list of the fastest blockchains by TPS.

Bitcoin Hyper relies on the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) and the Canonical Bridge to address this problem.

While SVM handles the network’s overall responsiveness and throughout thanks to its lightning-fast execution of smart contracts and DeFi apps, the Canonical Bridge works to reduce transaction times to seconds and eliminate the fee-based priority system.

The Bridge mints the users’ Bitcoins into Hyper’s Layer 2 as soon as the Bitcoin Relay Program confirms the transaction details.

How Hyper’s Canonical Bridge works

Together with the Bitcoin Relay, the Canonical Bridge reduces confirmation times from hours to seconds, effectively removing the fee-based priority system, which puts small-fee transactions at the end of the confirmation line.

With Hyper’s help, the Bitcoin network becomes faster, more responsive, and more scalable, making it a more viable long-term option for institutional and retail investors alike.

The presale has raised over $21.5M so far and it’s growing fast. If you want to support Hyper or simply diversify your portfolio, you can buy your $HYPER at the presale price of $0.013055.

Based on the growing investor support, projected long-term utility, and the Q4 target release, Bitcoin Hyper shows a lot of post-launch potential, which is already drawing massive early participation.

It started in 2016 with Bitcoin. Like most people at the time, he didn't fully understand it - so he kept digging. Blockchain, tokenomics, the projects, the cycles. That curiosity never stopped, and eventually pulled him into traditional markets too: equities, commodities, macro. Not because he left crypto behind, but because you can't properly understand one without the other. What drives him is straightforward: he wants to know why something is happening, not just that it's happening. Most market coverage stops at the headline - price up, price down, here's a chart. Alex finds that kind of reporting actively unhelpful. If you walk away from an article without understanding the mechanism behind the move, what did you actually learn? He holds a degree in Tourism from New Bulgarian University - not the most obvious path into financial markets, but markets have a way of pulling in people who are simply too curious to stay out. He has authored over 200 in-depth analyses and more than 10,000 articles across crypto and traditional finance. He still thinks every day in markets teaches him something new. That's probably why he hasn't stopped.
